What we collect, why, and who else touches it.

Last updated September 5, 2026

What we collect

  • Your email address, when you sign in. Your name and phone if you type them into the contact form.
  • Your saved searches and the alerts we sent you, so we do not send the same one twice.
  • Which memos you asked for, so your plan's count is right.
  • The IP address a sign-in code was requested from, kept briefly, to stop abuse.

We do not collect payment card numbers. Stripe does, on its own pages, under its own policy.

Cookies

One cookie, which holds your signed-in session for 30 days. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.

Who else handles it

  • Supabase hosts the database.
  • Vercel hosts the site.
  • Brevo sends the emails.
  • Stripe handles billing.
  • Anthropic processes the text of a memo request when you ask for one. The request contains the public record and area data, never your personal details.

The public records themselves

The property records on the site are public records published by county clerks and federal agencies. They can contain the names of parties to a case. We show what the county publishes and link to the county's page. If you believe a record is wrong, the county clerk is the place to correct it.

Your choices

Stop any alert from the alerts page or the link in the email. Delete your account by writing to support@govdeed.com, and we remove your saved searches and your email within 30 days. Billing records stay as long as the law requires.
