GovDeed
Refunds and cancellation
Short version: cancel in two clicks, keep what you paid for, and if we let you down, ask.
Last updated September 5, 2026
Cancelling
Open your account page and choose Manage billing. Stripe opens, and Cancel is right there. Cancelling stops the next charge. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. Your saved searches stay, and they go back to the free plan's limit.
The free trial
Every paid plan starts with 7 days free, once per customer. Cancel any time during the trial and you are never charged. If you do nothing, billing starts automatically when the trial ends, at the price shown on the pricing page.
Refunds
Monthly plans are not refunded for a partial month. If you were charged for a period you did not use at all, or the site was down for most of a billing period, write to support@govdeed.com within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. Yearly plans can be refunded on a prorated basis within the first 30 days.
Memos
A memo that fails to generate is not counted against your plan. A memo you did not like is still a memo.
